Questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened and handled in your own browser and never sent to a server. Once the page has loaded, it keeps working without an internet connection.
Is this a digital signature?
No. It places an electronic image of your handwritten or typed signature on the page. It is not a digital signature made with a digital certificate (the kind called PAdES), so the file carries no certificate and no way to verify who signed.
Is the signature legally valid?
This tool gives no legal advice and does not promise any legal effect. Whether an e-signature like this is accepted for a given contract depends on the other party and the law where you are, so check with them first for anything important.
Can I use it on a phone?
It supports touch handwriting. How it feels depends on your device and browser, so try it on a throwaway PDF before an important one.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. It is free, there is no account to make, and the downloaded PDF has no watermark.
What about a password-protected PDF?
Remove the password first, then open the file here.
Can I sign more than one place?
Yes. Put as many signatures and text items (name, date, initials) as you need on one document, across pages. Each one can be dragged and resized.
